This toy by Nina Ottoson is a fun interative game that is designed for your dog/cat to enjoy playing with you!

The Dog Tornado has four layers of rotating discs. In three layers there are compartments where treats can be hidden. The dog/cat has to learn to rotate the different layers in different directions with its nose or paw in order to find the hidden treats.

By placing the white plastic blocks in some of the compartments, the degree of difficulty increases. You can tie a string through the holes in the blocks to make it easier for the dog/cat to lift the blocks away. Should your dog have an injured paw for example, you can place the game on a stool to make the dog work with its nose only.

You can turn this puzzle into a great game for a hot summer day by mixing some soft dog food with water, pouring some of the mixture in the compartments, and freezing.

These toys are designed to challenge your dog/cat, to stimulate it's problem solving ability, and as an outlet for it's energy. These brain activity toys/games are easy to get out and fun to use for both you and your dog/cat.
